SCOTTSDALE / PHOENIX · WEEK OF APRIL 13, 2026
The Peonies-in-the-Kitchen Move
Stop at AJ's Fine Foods (Scottsdale Rd & Shea) on your way home. Grab the blush pink peonies — they're by the entrance, $18 a bunch. Put them in the tall vase on the kitchen island before your partner walks in. No note. No explanation. Just the flowers.
$18 · 4 minutes · Says: "I was thinking about you on a random Tuesday."
The Handwritten Lunch Note
Tonight before bed, grab a Post-it and write one sentence: something specific you noticed about them this week. Tuck it into their laptop sleeve or car visor. They'll find it tomorrow around noon.
$0 · 90 seconds tonight · Remembered for weeks.

The After-Bedtime Backyard Setup
Put the kids down at 8. While they're brushing teeth, lay a blanket on the patio. Open the Trader Joe's brie, pour two glasses of the Decoy cab, and put on the "Jazz Vibes" playlist on Spotify. When your partner comes out from bedtime stories, say: "Come outside for a minute."
$22 · 7 min setup · Zero babysitter. Maximum impact.

Din Tai Fung — Grand Opening
The world-famous dumpling house opens its first Arizona location this month. 10,000 sq ft, glass-walled kitchen, and their legendary 18-fold xiao long bao.
Be first to try Scottsdale's most anticipated opening together.

The Madam Speakeasy
Step 1: At 5pm, text your partner:
"Dress up tonight. I found something."
Step 2: Drive to The Scottsdale Resort (7700 E McCormick Pkwy). Walk past the lobby bar. Look for the red curtain. Password this week: "Old Fashioned."
Step 3: Grab the velvet booth in the back corner. Order the Devil's Gambit (dragon fruit + mezcal, $19 each). Don't look at the menu—you already know what to get.
Thu–Sat, 7pm–midnight · $55 for two drinks + tip · Total effort: one text + show up.

What couples are saying
★★★★★
"I did the Post-it note thing from last week's digest. Wrote one sentence, stuck it in his laptop bag. He called me at noon just to say thank you. Took me 30 seconds. He thought I'd been thinking about it all morning."
Jessica T. · Austin, TX · Subscriber since launch
★★★★★
"Two kids under five. Zero bandwidth. We've done something from the digest three Saturdays in a row now — which is three more date nights than the two months before we subscribed."
Marcus & Dana K. · Nashville, TN · Subscribers since launch
Why this exists
A note from the founder

I built this because I was tired of spending 30 minutes every weekend figuring out something to do, then ending up on the couch again anyway.

I have a demanding career and three young kids. I love my partner. But we kept having the same conversation: "What do you want to do?" "I don't know, what do you want to do?" Until we'd default to takeout and a show we'd already seen.

I didn't need a couples therapy app. I needed someone to just hand me the plan, the restaurant, the gesture, the exact move. So I built that.

Phileo is the cheat code I wish I'd had years ago. We do the research so you can just show up, looking like you put in way more effort than you actually did.
